This module will run on the master server and will generate all files needed to configure a slave. These files will be bundled into a tar.gz file. Once these files are manually transported to a slave, there will be a slave-based program which will process these files and automatically configure the slave.

This entire set of processes, both master-side and slave-side, will be automatic other than the transport of the tarball. The master-side process will be driven by the contents of the following tables:

• servers
• locations
• services-server-map

in the Merce database. These tables will of course be edited through a UI by the sysadmin, and will result in the preparation of config for each slave.
