This section is about life at Merce.

In other companies, you have very official-looking Policy Documents, which govern "H R Policy" and such other Big And Important Things (BAIT). Most employees don't really care about BAIT.. they just want to know what they can and can't do, what they should and shouldn't do. If an employee is not intelligent and involved enough to make sense of a general set of clear, simple guidelines, then just throwing some official-looking BAIT at him won't help him.

Therefore, this section will be an assorted collection of various things:

• what you are entitled to in terms of leave, reimbursement of expenses, etc.
• what you can get in Merce, like books, other facilities, etc.
• what you should or should not do: mostly stuff which you'd consider common-sense anyway
• suggested pointers about what you should read and try out, how you should grow as a professional and a person

Pretty eclectic stuff, actually.

This was clicked by a friend on a Himalayan HAT (high altitude trek) and captures quite well the nature of life @ Merce. Tight team. Tough going. Breathtaking view. Amazing experience.
