This document lists the bugs which were specific to the RHEL4 update 5 platform installation of Mtracks 2.6.0
- Reinstallation of Mtracks 2.6.0 on RHEL4 update 5 64 bit platform.
If Mtracks 2.6.0 is needed to be reinstalled on RHEL4 update 5 64 bit version then before starting reinstallation execute out the following commands:
- #rpm -e gdbm-1.8.0-24.i386 --nodeps
- #rpm -e gdbm-1.8.0-24.x86_64 --nodeps
- #rpm -Uvh /var/tmp/mtracks_installer/data/x86_64/apr-0.9.4-24.5.x86_64.rpm
- #rpm -Uvh /var/tmp/mtracks_installer/data/x86_64/mysql-4.1.20-2.RHEL4.1.x86_64.rpm
- #rpm -e spamassassin-3.1.8-2.el4 --nodeps
- Now reinstall Mtracks 2.6.0
- Installation of Mtracks 2.6.0 on RHEL4 update 5 64 bit version with GUI.
- If Mtracks 2.6.0 is installed on RHEL4 update 5 64 bit with GUI then during installation time when the following question is asked Is system's current date and time correct? Example: yes enter no. This will abort the installation. Once the installation has been aborted execute the following commands:
- #rpm -e gdbm-1.8.0-24.i386 --nodeps
- #rpm -e gdbm-1.8.0-24.x86_64 --nodeps
- #rpm -Uvh /var/tmp/mtracks_installer/data/x86_64/apr-0.9.4-24.5.x86_64.rpm
- #rpm -Uvh /var/tmp/mtracks_installer/data/x86_64/mysql-4.1.20-2.RHEL4.1.x86_64.rpm
- #rpm -e spamassassin-3.1.8-2.el4 --nodeps
- Now reinstall Mtracks 2.6.0
- Please configure the IP aliases for RHEL4-U-5
